The Client:
Andresen & Associates was founded in 1986 by Kenneth
Andresen, former Chief Assistant United States Attorney for
the Western District of North Carolina. Since that time the
firm has developed several areas of practice including: corporate
transactional representation, civil litigation, and criminal
defense. The team at Andresen & Associates works hard
to meet the needs of their clients and makes extensive use
of computers and technology to coordinate their activity and
to communicate.

The Issues:
Key personnel were
distracted by the need to research and plan for the strategic
use of technology in the firm.
Expenses on computers
and technology were erratic and a dependable budget for IT
could not be created.
Routine maintenance
was not being performed which created an increase in computer-related
problems.
Systems problems and
downtime distracted personnel and reduced hours billed.

For a fixed, monthly fee Responza has become Andresen & Associates
virtual IT department. Responza monitors, manages, and maintains
their server, workstations, and firewall. In addition, Andresen
& Associates draws upon Responza's experience in managing IT
departments for business and receives help planning for and using
technology to improve their business processes.
